YCELLBIO MEDICAL conducted YCELL PRP implementation and on-site training
for the medical team at Modu Top 365 Orthopedic Clinic, Suji Branch.
This training went beyond simply delivering the product and
explaining how to use the kit.
It covered the structure and operation of the YCELL PRP KIT,
as well as the practical steps required in clinical settings, including blood collection,
centrifugation, identification of the separated blood layers, and PRP extraction.
We addressed practical questions about product use and
shared hands-on guidance to help the medical team
become more familiar with the YCELL PRP KIT.
■ Does Using the Same PRP Kit Always Produce the Same PRP?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is prepared by separating plasma with a high
concentration of platelets from a patient’s own blood for clinical use.
Platelets contain a variety of growth factors involved in the tissue recovery process.
For this reason, the concentration of platelets in the final PRP preparation is
considered one of the important factors when evaluating PRP.
The YCELL PRP KIT can prepare high-concentration PRP rich in platelet-derived
growth factors from 13.5 mL of the patient’s blood.
When used according to the designated protocol, the system can concentrate
platelets to approximately 7–9 times the level found in whole blood.
It is designed to provide a sufficient concentration of platelets
from a relatively small volume of blood.
Rather than simply increasing the amount of blood collected,
the YCELL PRP KIT is designed to effectively concentrate and extract platelets,
the key component of PRP.
■ Y-NECK Structure Designed for High-Concentration PRP Extraction
The YCELL PRP KIT features a narrow Y-NECK dual-layer separation structure.
It is designed to effectively separate red blood cells, platelets, and plasma while
allowing the concentrated platelet layer to be identified within the narrow neck.
The adjustable control lever at the bottom of the kit
allows the position of the separated platelet layer to be adjusted.
The required PRP can then be extracted using
a standard syringe needle fixed in position.
From high-concentration PRP preparation to final extraction,
the product structure has been designed with
convenient handling for medical professionals in mind.
